Baking....Baking.....Baking......
I have been in a baking frenzy lately. It's a stress reliever for me... Don't ask how. But I just really enjoy it!
Here are 2 of my latest......

1st Grader
So we now officially have a First Grader! It's so sad! I dropped her off at school watched her walk to put her backpack in line and play on the playground. I just wanted to cry! She is SO big!!

The Final Event
We finished our crazy weekend at Lagoon! We went with our friends Heidi & Mike and my Mom. The kids had SO much fun but were SO tired by the end of the evening! Nate was not able to come with us because he was sick. Thank goodness my Mom came with me to help with the girls. I would not have been able to do it alone! Each kid went a different direction! AGGHHH!

Swimming and more Fireworks
We have been having a pretty busy weekend and it's only Saturday! We spent the day with my Mom and the kids swam and we did more fireworks. Again, the kids didn't care too much about the fireworks. I think the adults enjoyed them more!
Cole's famous Finale's!!! It was much better in person!

Fun with Fireworks
For Pioneer Day (a Utah holiday) we spent the evening with our good friends Heidi & Mike. We had an enjoyable dinner and then we lit off fireworks for the kids. I think Heidi and I enjoyed them more than the kids. They really didn't care.

Just like Dad!
So my little Ashlyn is just like her Dad....... WEIRD! hehehe..... She has always had a thing for shoes. This one is a little odd. She is IN LOVE with her sister's snow boots. She has worn them around the house ALL weekend. I had to beg her to wear sandals when we went out. She is just so funny!
Here she is jammies and snow boots. What a combination!
SO HOT!!!
It's definitely been a scorcher this weekend! We have stayed in doors for the most part. It's too hot to do anything. Swimming is always good though on a hot day! So of course we went swimming..... it was SO nice to cool off in the pool!

Patriotic Program
The girls had a cute Patriotic Program at daycare today. It was so adorable. Both girls sang so good! I couldn't get very good pictures (my camera stinks, it's time for a new one)! So here are a few from afterwards.

ABC's-Bah Bah Black Sheep
Ashlyn sings Bah Bah Black Sheep so cute but recently it's been more difficult to get her to sing. So when I asked her to sing Bah Bah Black Sheep today this is what I got.
Man Made Beach
My friend Kristin was talking about this man made beach just up a little from our house. I really wanted to find it, so on our way home today we decided to try and find it. Well we found it and it looks so neat! If the girls and I are not out of town next weekend then we are going to visit the beach! How weird to visit the beach in our neighborhood.
Look how cool! (sorry they are bad pictures, I had to take them from the car. I didn't want to get the girls out since it was naptime)
This is seriously up the street a little from our house in a neighborhood. It's so cool, I can't wait to go to the beach and let the girls play! They will have SO much fun!
Picnic Sunday
We decided to have a picnic at the park today. It was super hot outside but in the shade it was fantastic!
Nate wanted to play on the playset with the girls. I had to tell him he was just too big! Sorry Nate!

Goggles!
Ashlyn has a thing for goggles. She sees them and loves them! Miss Independent will not allow you to help her. So we let her put them on herself! It is the funniest thing I have ever seen!
She does not like the hot tub but LOVES her goggles.
Happy 4th of July!
We attended the Riverton parade tonight. Alexis said "It was the best day ever of her whole life". She got a huge bag of candy, looks like it will be hidden soon! Ashlyn got into the candy for the first 5 or 6 pieces and then all she wanted to do was sit and eat them!
Patiently waiting for the parade! We are ready!
